The Child Protection Officer will be responsible for implementation of Child Protection activities with guidance from Program Coordinator. Block roles include MHPSS, Case management and FTR response, working in the conflict affected communities to directly identify and register abducted children and women, negotiate with local authorities, raise awareness, and try to seek the best outcomes in a limited and challenging environment.

The main responsibilities of this role involve conducting regular MUAC screenings for children aged 6 to 59 months to detect acute malnutrition and referring severely malnourished children to the OTP program and moderately malnourished children to the Tom Brown supplementary feeding program.

The MEAL Manager plays a crucial role in the Safeguarding Children Initiative’s programs in the BAY State by overseeing monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities. This includes designing and implementing MEAL systems, conducting evaluations and research, managing MEAL budgets, participating in recruitment, strengthening accountability systems, and assisting with proposal writing and log frame development for all projects.
